Glacier National Park

Iceberg Lake

This August my husband and I went on an amazing road trip to some of the most beautiful places in the country. The highlight for me: Glacier National Park. We camped at the Rising Sun Campground for 3 nights and hiked as much as possible. Being surrounded by so much pure and untainted nature was good for the soul. Unfortunately, that nature will soon be destroyed. Due climate change all of the parks glaciers are expected to be gone as early as 2020. This will dramatically affect all the plants, animals, and the ecosystem as a whole. If you’ve seen this place in person I know you are as sad as I am about this.

Here are some pictures of how it looks today….
